I just finished this giant T-Shirt Quilt for a friend. It was fun cutting all the shirts, adding stabilizer to the back of each and sashing them. Once they were cut and the sashing added it was fun deciding how to lay them out. This quilt was 30 shirts and was giant. The blocks had to be 15" in order to get all of the designs. Typically I would make them 12" but these shirts had large designs on them. I only had to lose a little of the design on one of the squares. Since it was so big I decided to tie the quilt but future quilts will probably be put together with a quilt as you go method I am anxious to try. If you would like a T-Shirt Quilt check out my Etsy shop! I will be adding a listing for you to order your custom T-Shirt Quilt!

Newborn Crochet Tattoo Art Mom Hat - How-To
A friend of mine asked me to make a hat for a newborn baby with tattoo art and Mom embroidered on. I made the beanie in black with a red heart and a banner sewn across in white with MOM embroidered on it. To learn how to make a beanie you can watch my YouTube video. I made the heart by following the pattern on this YouTube video by Hectanooga. She has lots of instructional videos for crochet. The banner was made with 16 foundation double crochets and then I embroidered MOM on it. But you could put anything on it - even DAD! Comment below if you make one or send me a picture of how yours turned out! If you want me to make one send me a message (convo) through my etsy shop at www.etsy.com/shop/alanemarie.
